1. Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary
Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary is a perfect place for wildlife enthusiasts. Here you can find a large number of wild animals, including tigers. It is located on the Western Ghats and is famous for the flora and fauna and located at a distance of 35 kilometres from the proper town area of Chikmagalur. It houses more than 250 species of birds.
This Sanctuary is also known as the Muthodi Wildlife Sanctuary. Adventure lovers can explore the entire place on jeeps for the safari. You can also try island camping, rock climbing,and trekking here. The best time to visit the sanctuary is during the months of October to February as the weather remains pleasant.
Kemmanagundi is a popular mountain peak in Karnataka after Mullayanagiri. You can enjoy the environs of lush green all around. There are many tourists visiting this place for the summer retreat. It provides the perfect background for clicking many pictures. There is a rock garden and a children park too. One must not miss visiting the Raj Bhavan located close by.

3. Hebbe Falls

The 13 kilometres drive from Kemmanagundi to the Hebbe Falls is one of the most thrilling one. There are two shallow streams to be crossed. There are two parts of this beautiful waterfalls. The big falls is known as the Dodda Hebbe and the small falls is called the Chikka Hebbe. The frothy cascades look best during the monsoon months. 4. Kalhatti Falls
Kalhatti Falls is located amidst the large forest cover, surrounded with plantations. There are many rivulets and waterfalls surrounding the area. It is filled with religious travellers as it has the Temple of Lord Veerabhadra. In local term, this fall is referred as Kalahasti Falls. While visiting this waterfalls, you can also visit the Baba BudanGiri, Mullayangiri and the Seethalgiri. There are also various local shops here. It is a great destination for sightseeing.
5. The Mountain Circuit
The first stop of the mountain circuit is Sheethalagiri. It is dedicated to Swami Mallikarjuna. It is amazing to witness the natural trickle of the beautiful waterfalls. Next, you are taken to the Dattagiri Hill Range. It is also known as the Baba Budan Giri Hill or Inam Dattatreya Peetha. This shrine is named after a famous saint.
People from all religions visit this shrine. Finally, head towardsMullayanagiri. It is the highest peak in Karnataka. If you are lucky enough, you will get a glimpse of the Goddess in gold. It is believed that whoever visits this temple will never be deprived of food in their entire lifetime.

You can visit the entire pilgrimage Circuit consisting of Sringeri, Dharmasthala, Udipi Krishna Temple, KukkeSubrahmanya Temple, Kollooru Temple, Kalasheshwara Temple, Mookambika Temple.
