1. Mapro Garden
Mapro Garden is a popular tourist attraction in Mahabaleshwar. It is located at a distance of 11 kilo meter sat Gureghar. There is also a children play area and a nursery inside the Garden. There is a retail outlet from where you can purchase items like syrups, toppings, marmalade, jams,and preserves. It also houses a restaurant where you can get the sandwiches and ice creams and strawberry shakes. A strawberry festival is also held over here in the month of March or April. It is open on all the days of the week from 8 am and 8 pm.
2. Wilson Point
You can watch the most beautiful sunrise from Wilson Point at a height of 4,710 feet above the sea-level. It is a place that completely rejuvenates your mind, soul,and body. There is also a three stone platform. Tourists can sit and admire the nature all around. It is the highest point in Mahabaleshwar. It is also known as the Sunrise Point. It was named after Sir Leslie Wilson. He was then the Governor of Bombay. There are three watchtowers in Wilson Point from where you can have a scenic view of the sunrise and the sunset. It is open on all days of the week from 6 am to 8 pm.
3. Arthur’s Seat
Arthur’s Seat is popularly known as the Queen of the Points for its beautiful scenic view. It is located at a height of 1470 meters. It is located at a distance of 13 kilo meters from the market of Mahabaleshwar. Many people call it Madhi Mahaal. The air pressure here is very interesting. If you throw some lightweight thing, it bounces back again. You can see the Deccan as well as the Konkan Coast from here. The best time to visit the place is from October to June. The weather remains pleasant all throughout the year.
4. Mahabaleshwar Temple
Constructed during the 16th century, Mahabaleshwar Temple has been designed in the South Indian style of architecture. There are two divisions of the temple- the central hall and the Sanctum Sanctorum. It is open on all days from 6 am to 7 pm. It has historical allusions to Maratha ruler, Shivaji who had weighed his mother in gold over here. All of Lord Shiva’s abode like the Rudraksha, Trishul, damru, and bed is also found here which are almost 300 years old.
5. Babington Point
Babington Point is a great place to just sit and admire nature or just experience the quietness and calmness. It is located at a height of 1294 m above the sea level. It is famous for its surreal landscapes and lush greenery on all sides. It has meandering routes and rich vegetation. You can even enjoy a pony ride while travelling uphill. 6. Kamalgad Fort
Thrill seekers and adventurers would simply love this place. You can try camping and trekking in Kamalgad Fort.It is located at a distance of 10 miles from Wai. There are no protective walls around the fort which is very unusual. Sharp perilous rocks around the fort are used for protection. There are a 20 feet deep hole which has been formed in the fort. 7. Sunset Point
Popularly known as the Mumbai Point, Sunset Point is located on the old road to Mumbai. You should definitely visit this place in Mumbai-Mahabaleshwar road. 8. Elephant’s Head Point
The rock formation of this structure looks like the head of an elephant so the name had been given. This is an interesting place of visit in Mahabaleshwar. Wax Museum is a great place for art lovers. Even children and adults of all ages will find this place very interesting. It was founded by Bhavesh Bhatia. Various showpieces, statues,and sculptures have been put up here which are made up of wax. Great creativity and humanity can be seen over here. Candles made by visually challenged children are also highlighted over here. If you buy the candles, the amount goes for charity. It is an extraordinary museum.
10. Carnac Point

It has a splendid landscape which attracts the honeymooners and the nature lovers. It is open from sunrise to sunset and both the time have an exceptional beauty of its own. It was named after Sir James Rivett Carnac. He was then the Governor of the Bombay Presidency. It is close to the Babington Point so you can even overlook the sunset from there. It makes the place even more appealing.
