1. Sri Sai Baba Sansthan temple

It is one of the most popular shrines in Shirdi in Maharashtra. It dedicates to the greatest saint, Sri Sai Baba. In this temple, he worships as God with numerous followers. It is a holy place which is visited by thousands of devotees every year. This place is very blissful and is popular for its tranquillity. It is located in the middle of the Shirdi village. It is a significant centre for all his devotees and religious followers. The temple has been expands many acres with donation counters, book stalls, and even railway reservation centres. Even accommodation facilities are provided for people coming from faraway places.

2. Gurusthan

This place is also popular among the religious devotees of Sri Sai Baba. It is believed to be the first place where Sri Sai Baba had appeared when he was a young boy. There is a huge portrait of Sri Sai Baba with a shivalingam in front of it. Gurusthan basically refers to the place under a neem tree. Here the devotees light incense under the neem tree with the belief that this action will cure their diseases. It is mainly at Kopargaon which is a bit far from the main town of Shirdi. This place also has a huge shrine.

3. Samadhi Mandir

Samadhi Mandir was built by a devotee of Sai Baba. The story goes that the devotee wished to make an idol of the famous Lord Muralidhar. Sai Baba announced himself as one and so it was constructed. The entire temple is made up of marble slabs and it looks beautiful. There are two huge pillars which are beautifully ornamented and looks eye catchy. It is basically owned by a millionaire who resides in Nagpur. The mandir is very popular among the tourists which makes it one of the most popular sights among the tourists.

4. Dwarkamai

It refers to as the God on Earth. This mosque is adorne with rough stone walls and looks simple. It describes the early life of Baba as a humble fakir who was famous for his holy poverty. Moreover, his personal possessions were less as he believed in a simple living with only the necessities along with him. The devotees here practice tolerance and all the devotees consider this as a treasure. Sai Baba was tolerant of all religions and he respected all religions. He never discouraged his followers from visiting this mosque. Here you can see religious diversity as there’s a huge portrait of Baba at the entrance.

5. Lendi Baug

It is a beautiful garden where Sai Baba is said to have spent most of his time. He spent his time watering the plants every day in the morning as well as in the evening. The neem tree provided rest and shade to Sai Baba. There is a deepagraha in the garden where even today diyas are lit every day. The diyas burn from dusk to dawn every day. It is a popular spot for the tourists. It is just 1 km from the city centre.

6. Jangli Maharaj Ashram

This ashram is open on the weekdays and closing on Saturdays and Sundays. It is located on the Shirdi state highway. It is just 7 kilometers from Shirdi. Om Gurudev is the spiritual guru over here. He manages and maintains this ashram. There is also a co-educational school over here for the kids. A religious programme termed as Anygraha is held over here on every Poornima. It is a night long programme. It organize in front of Sadguru Janglidas Maharaj.

7. Chavadi

It is said that Sai Baba spent his last days in Chavadi. He used to come here on alternate nights to stay here. It is located very close to Dwarkamai. Sai Baba used to go along with his followers from this mosque in a procession. Even today this procession takes place. It takes place on every Thursday. An idol of Sai Baba is keep inside the Palki while this procession takes place. The followers of Sai Baba looks forward to this procession every week.

8. Dixit Wada Museum

The museum is located close to the Sai Baba Sansthan Trust. Here you can find many beautiful pictures of Sai Baba with his followers which are considering vintage. Many belongings of Sai Baba are display here like the leather padukas, the smoking pipes and his long robes that he used to wear. You can even find many cooking utensils and gramophone records over here. Even his bathing stone is keep along with other things. This museum is often visit by his followers and devotees.

9. Khandoba Mandir

It opens all days of the week from 5 am to 10 pm. This temple has icons of Mhalsai, Banai, and Khandoba. It locates on the main road and dedicates to Khandoba. He is mainly the prime deity of the entire town. This temple has a story attached to it that on his second visit here, Sai Baba came with a marriage party and sat under a banyan tree when Mhalsapati saw him and welcomed him inside. This temple is one of the most popular in Shirdi and also the most popular dedicated to Khandoba.

10. Abdul Baba Cottage

It is open on all days of the week from 7 am to 10 pm, just opposite to Chavadi. It belongs to Abdul Baba who was once an ardent follower of Sri Sai Baba. This cottage is green in color and is very small in size. Here you can even find many memoirs of Baba and Abdul Baba. The rare artifacts are another major attraction in this cottage. It is a must visit place for the tourists and definitely for the followers of Sri Sai Baba.

11. Wet and Joy Water Park

Wet and Joy Water Park is open throughout the week from 10 am to 6 pm. The Shirdi waterpark is popular among the youngsters and the kids. 12. Upasani Maharaj ashram

This ashram dedicates to Upasani Maharaj who was a great saint during the 20th He was a great devotee and follower of Sri Sai Baba. This ashram is located on the Shirdi Ahmedabad highway. The ashram contains the remains of the Maharaja himself. It also has the samadhi of one of his followers. This place is mainly popular among the devotees and religious people who are visiting Shirdi to explore its religious essence.

13. Shani Shingnapur

It is a very interesting village in Maharashtra. People over here strongly believe that Lord Shaneshwar will always protect them in whatever they do. Their belief is so strong that they don’t even put locks on the door of their houses. It is located a bit far from Shirdi but people usually cover this place on their Shirdi trip itself. Females are not allowed inside the premises where the idol is kept. People believe that worshipping Lord Shani will protect them from all the bad luck.

14. Palki Procession

It takes place on every Thursday and from the Dwarkamai masjid. It believes that while Sri Sai Baba visits Chavadi on the alternate nights, he used to go on a Palki in this procession from the mosque. Even today people take part in this procession with the same excitement. If one visits Shirdi around this time, then they should definitely take part in this procession.

17. Maruti Mandir

Locates very close to the Shirdi Bus stand, Maruti Mandir is also known as the Hanuman. It is located between Chavadi and Dwarkamai. It is one of the top places to visit in Shirdi. This temple dedicates to Lord Hanuman. Sai Baba used to halt in front of this temple often and used to wave his hands at his devotees and used to stand there for few minutes. The Palki procession also goes from in front of this Tempe.

18. Bhandardara

Locates close to Nashik and is a bit far from Shirdi, Bhandardara is a small hill station which is known for its natural beauty and the calm atmosphere. It is located at a height of 750 metres. This hill station is famous for its waterfalls and mountains and the pristine calm all around. Many tourists visit this place for Ecotourism.
